I had been eyeing on this one for a long time and couldn't wait to get a hold on it. Even though the start was a bit slow, once I got into it, I tried my best to find some time after my days work to do some reading. Even if it's just a few pages. And before I know it, I was already reaching its end.

Yes, the CLIMAX ,if you want to call it that, did leave me with mixed feelings. On one hand I did feel it was an unexpected one, but on the other hand I might have expected a bit more, DRAMA! I was hoping for something more. But that was something I did feel throughout the book though. Being a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law centric book, I thought it was obvious to have been a lot more dramatic. But I was surprised in that aspect as that is not what the Sally Hepworth author had in mind. And hence I loved the way the relationship is portrayed about the above mentioned parties in such a non-nonsense and real way.

To sum up, I will be surely recommending this one as a must read for 2019 to all my book lovers!!!
